Lisbon Metro - the moving space
This is a project developed for the Portuguese Institute of Photography (IPF) two years professional program.
The images intend to give us a reflection on the fast and anonymous movement of people and trains, passing on the permanent presence of the train stations.
Movement and time (historical or not) is the key element, one of the most important concerns of some of the photographic work I produce.
People can't recognise themselves and the others on such fast and furious day-to-day life., something to be concerned about.
All photographs were taken in 2003/2004 on black and white 135 film, using a tripod and some neutral density filters. Film was developed by me at home, and was presented at that year at IPF on standard RC coated paper.
